Welcome our new list member Philip Morrison
Lennon’s List Barristers welcomes our new list member, Philip Morrison.
Philip practises in common law and protection of children matters. He has a particular interest in personal injury, institutional abuse, medical negligence and coronial inquiries. Philip also accepts briefs in relation to Children’s Court proceedings, IVO and VCAT appearances.
Prior to coming to the bar, Philip practised as a solicitor for 10 years, including 4 years as a Senior Solicitor and Acting Principal Solicitor in the Child Protection Litigation Office. Internationally, he was admitted as a Barrister and Solicitor in New Zealand where he advised clients across a range of jurisdictions including commercial, family and criminal and acted for claimants to the Accident Compensation Corporation scheme.
Philip has appeared in the Federal Circuit and Family Court of Australia, the Children’s and Magistrates’ Courts of Victoria, VCAT and the District, Family and High Courts of New Zealand.
Philip is reading with David Seeman and his senior mentor is Fiona Ryan SC.
