Oliver practises in common law with expertise in personal injury including public/product liability, industrial accidents, intentional torts, institutional abuse, inquests, transport accidents and insurance related matters.
Oliver regularly appears in statutory benefits hearings, serious injury applications, mediations, and damages trials.
Oliver is also a Nationally Accredited Mediator.
Prior to joining the Bar, Oliver practised as a Solicitor in the General Insurance and Workplace teams at Moray & Agnew Lawyers, across a wide variety of litigated matters including public/product liability, worker’s damages actions, s138 / 369 recovery proceedings, OH&S investigations/prosecutions, and statutory benefits for self-insurers.
Oliver is a member of the common law and compensation law associations.
