Since coming to the Bar, Craig has practised widely in all jurisdictions. His current practice is primarily common law, but includes all facets of commercial law, construction and general commercial disputes, as well as banking and finance matters.

Gary practices mainly in the areas of commercial law, administrative law, criminal law, personal injury, general torts, defamation and family law.

Gary returned to Victoria in 2001 having practised in South Australia as a prosecutor and then at the South Australian independent bar from 1985 to 2000.

He has prosecuted and defended serious criminal matters over many years at all levels.

Gary has appeared in numerous appeals in the High Court, Full Federal Court as well as various State Courts of Appeal and Criminal Appeal.

Gary has appeared as counsel assisting in a number of Commissions of Inquiry in various States and the ACT and has also represented parties before such inquiries. He has appeared in high profile coronial inquests on behalf of families and potentially affected parties.

Gary has also been appointed to facilitate conclaves of experts in Supreme Court proceedings involving aviation.

He has served as an Army Officer, both Regular and Reserve, and rose to the rank of Colonel.  He was appointed a Judge Advocate and Defence Force Magistrate in 1998 and resigned that appointment to become the Inaugural Director of Military Prosecutions between 2003 and 2006.  He has served two tours in Afghanistan and also served in Iraq and East Timor.

Gary has held a private pilot’s licence and an open water diver’s licence.

Adam Hill has practiced extensively in personal injury and insurance litigation with a particular interest in insurance and superannuation disability claims and income protection. Experienced in family law, criminal law and crimes compensation matters.

Stephen practices in common law and personal injury matters and is a nationally accredited mediator.

Stephen appears in:

• Recoveries;
• Medical negligence cases; and
• Torts matters generally.

Stephen appears in the County Court, Supreme Court and Court of Appeal.

Stephen accepts briefs in the areas of general Commercial Law, Property, Planning and Sports Law.

Stephen is a nationally accredited mediator and he conducts mediations in his chosen fields of practice.

Stephen read with Chris Winneke QC. Prior to coming to the Bar, Stephen practiced capital markets law in London at DLA Piper LLP and Allen & Overy LLP. Prior to that, Stephen worked at Maddocks in the Property and Construction group.

Angus has specialised in common law and personal injury matters since he was admitted to the Victorian Bar in 2000.

He practices extensively in the following areas:

• industrial accidents

• sexual assault claims

• total and permanent disablement claims / superannuation disputes
• professional negligence
• coronial inquests

Since 2010, Angus has been briefed to appear on behalf of plaintiffs in the Geelong Circuit in the Supreme Court and County Court.  Since 2015, he has been briefed as Lead Counsel in Geelong Circuit matters. He is also briefed regularly as Lead Counsel in the Supreme Court and the County Court in Melbourne.

In 2015/16 Angus was briefed to assess the damages of members of the Kilmore East-Kinglake Bushfire Class Action.

In addition to a busy trial and advice practice, Angus is regularly briefed to appear in mediations, judicial mediations and settlement conferences.  He also has experience appearing in the Court of Appeal.

Angus is proficient in running his practice electronically and he has experience as Lead Counsel in Zoom hearings.

Angus read with Judge John Jordan and he has had four readers: Sarah Lean, Rebecca Dal Pra, Stephen Scully, and Sonari Fernando.

Before joining the Bar, Angus gained broad experience in common law, criminal law, family law and general litigation.  He completed his Articles with Molomby and Molomby (Middletons) before joining Tyler Tipping & Woods in 1994.  From 1996 to 1997 Angus worked for Simmons & Simmons in Hong Kong.  From 1998 to 2000, he was employed by the Office of Public Prosecutions where he gained extensive experience in indictable criminal matters.

Angus is a member of the common law bar association, the criminal bar association and Australian Lawyers Alliance.

He is a passionate cyclist, traveller, chef and Collingwood supporter.  He is also an enthusiastic Italofile.  He is married with three boys, who are also passionate about the Pies.
