Andrew T. Conley

Fiona Crock
Prior to coming to the Bar, Fiona was associate to His Honour Judge Dyer at the County Court of Victoria. His Honour sat in the Common Law Division of the Court, and heard matters in the Serious Injury Applications List, WorkCover List, Defamation List and General List. As an associate, Fiona was involved in common law damages trials, serious injury applications, judicial mediations and a range of interlocutory disputes.

Natasha Crowe
Natasha comes to the Bar with an extensive history in personal injuries and civil litigation.
From her admission in Victoria in 2002 until coming to the Bar, Natasha worked in personal injuries insurance, specializing in workers’ compensation common law litigation.
Natasha became a Partner of the Accident Compensation Litigation team at Hall & Wilcox in 2012 representing the Victorian WorkCover Authority and self-insurers. In 2013, Natasha became the Self-Insurance Relationship Partner. Stephanie De Guio
Stephanie accepts briefs in personal injuries, commercial, insurance and employment law matters.

Andrew Higgins
Andrew is experienced in complex personal injury and product liability cases and class actions. He was formerly an associate at Slater & Gordon, where he had an asbestos practice and was heavily involved in tobacco litigation including McCabe v British American Tobacco and Laurie v the Commonwealth and British American Tobacco. For his work on the McCabe case he was nominated for the Australian Lawyers Alliance’s Lawyer of the Year Award (formerly the Australian Plaintiff Lawyers Association).
Andrew is also a lecturer in law at the University of Oxford. He currently lectures on civil procedure on Oxford’s BCL masters’ programme, and has previously taught contract and tort to University College and New College Oxford. Phillip Johnstone
Phillip welcomes briefs in common law, commercial and criminal matters. He has particular experience in personal injury claims of all types and has a general interest in commercial, administrative law and crime.
Before coming to the Bar, Phillip worked in mid to large tier law firms serving both plaintiff and defendant clients.
Most recently, Phillip worked in a defendant firm as part of the WorkCover and Commonwealth teams. He defended worker’s compensation claims under the Accident Compensation Act, handled claims against Comcare and claims made under the Asbestos and Dust Diseases Torts legislation.
Prior to this, his experience was as a senior lawyer with two plaintiff firms where he had the conduct of numerous WorkCover, medical negligence, public liability and TAC matters.
Before coming to Australia Phillip was a sole practitioner in South Africa where he ran a law practice that focused on personal injury, corporate work in regards to small to medium commercial enterprises, family law and crime. The broad experience of running such a practice empowers Phillip to accept briefs across these wide areas of interest.
Phillip completed his Bachelor Procurationsand postgraduate Bachelor of Laws degree at the University of Kwa Zulu Natal, in South Africa. He was awarded Certificates of Merit in Partnership and Company Law and Specific Contracts by the Dean of Law.
