Scott practices in personal injury and insurance litigation, accepting briefs for both plaintiffs and defendants.
Prior to joining the Bar, Scott worked as an Associate Lawyer at Maurice Blackburn Lawyers. His practice focused primarily on assisting injured clients with claims for compensation under the Transport Accident Commission (TAC) scheme. Before this, Scott worked as a solicitor at the TAC where he managed a portfolio of common law, statutory benefits and serious injury claims.
Scott also worked as Senior Associate to his Honour Judge Misso, then head of the Common Law Division at the County Court of Victoria. While at the Court, Scott assisted his Honour in a wide variety of common law matters, including personal injury claims under the TAC and WorkCover schemes, public liability claims, family property disputes (testators’ family maintenance), and abuse claims.
Scott holds Bachelor of Laws and Bachelor of Business degrees.
