Nick was a solicitor at Slater & Gordon from 1997 to 2000, practising in workers' compensation (Workcover and Comcare) and general common law. Ultimately managed the firm's Comcare practice. Master of laws completed in 1999, subjects included defamation law, medical litigation, employment law and superannuation. Published articles in Journal of Law and Medicine and The Law Institute Journal. Nick is also a volunteer at the Footscray Community Legal Centre, 1996-present.
