Areas of Practice:

Marc was admitted to practice in April 2000 and signed the Bar Roll in November 2004.

From 1999 until 2003, Marc worked for Minter Ellison in the employment/industrial relations and intellectual property practices. During that time, he was involved in litigating industrial, employment and discrimination disputes in the Supreme Court, the Federal Court of Australia, Magistrates' Court, Australian Industrial Relations Commission, and the Victorian Civil & Administrative Tribunal.

Marc has also provided advice to medium and large employers, including government departments, on issues such as engaging independent contractors, sale of business, termination of employment, negotiating and interpreting industrial instruments, and equal opportunity.

From August 2003 until August 2004, Marc was Associate to the Honourable Justice Ryan in the Federal Court of Australia. Marc sat with his Honour on a range of matters including Industrial Relations, Migration, Administrative Law, Trade Practices and Intellectual Property.

At the Bar, Marc's practice has been primarily focused on Industrial, Employment and Discrimination Law and Administrative Law. In his practice, Marc has had the opportunity to represent a number employers and employees, as well as some government authorities, including the Office of Workplace Services and the Department of Immigration & Multicultural Affairs.

Marc read with Justin Bourke and his senior mentor is Jeff Sher QC.
