Mr Shnookal is an accredited and experienced Arbitrator (AIAMA), Mediator (Vic Bar) and Adjudicator (BCISP Act). He practises mainly in the areas of engineering, construction, software, processing plant and facilities. His practice as a Barrister is primarily in the Supreme Court and in arbitrations, both domestic and international.
Mr Shnookal graduated as an engineer in 1978 from Monash University and worked first in the oil industry and later in civil construction before studying law. He has been involved in many of the major building and engineering disputes in Victoria over the last 10 years.
He is a part-time member of VCAT, Building List and co-author of "Brooking on Building Contracts, 4th edition".
